About Anca Tîrcă
Anca has a long experience in education, human resources development and implementation of projects. After graduating from the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Bucharest in 1981, she began her career as an English teacher in Pucioasa city (Dambovita district, Romania). From December 1996 to September 2004 she was the headmaster of School No. 4 from Pucioasa, which she transformed into one of the most innovative schools from Romania, visited and appreciated by various education professionals from Romania and abroad.
Since 1992 she engaged as an expert / consultant in numerous national and European education projects, on issues such as human rights and education for democratic citizenship. She has designed and coordinated in Romania and other countries over 200 training programs having themes such as education for human rights and democratic citizenship, critical thinking, active learning, educational management, school and community, curriculum development.
