Urban activism workshop in post-socialist countries

A member of Komunitas Association participated in this internation workshop, which explored questions and problems related to urban activism in a context of post-socialist urban development. The workshop brought together persons from various countries across Europe, with the aim of facilitating ideas and resource exchanging regarding new and innovative ways of activating public spaces.

During a whole week we studied examples of urban activism from Tallin, Estonia and Europe, discussing about tactical methods and instruments in order to generate events and urban interventions with a positive impact upon local communities. Komunitas and Linnalabor NGOs became partners after this workshop and initiated projects together.
